Gillespie & Associates is a Certified Public Accounting Firm with extensive experience in the healthcare field. The services below form the basis of services currently provided to a number of practices in our client base. We are the management company for numerous medical ventures and have successfully managed all facets of organizations from start up through project management, to daily administration, and operations and management. We currently provide financial, business management, and practice management services to hospital based practices, specializing in Radiology, Pathology, and Emergency Room Services. The extent of the services provided is customized to each client’s needs.

We are proactive in encouraging our hospital based practices to supplement their incomes by capitalizing on their expertise to create expansion into private enterprise. We have extensive experience in this area. We are continuously being engaged to help develop these types of opportunities with existing groups, as well as hospitals. In all of these situations we have been instrumental in obtaining financing and maximizing the tax benefits and structure.

Due to the increasing complexities brought on with the safe harbors, reimbursement policies, credentialing and capitation agreement in July 1999, we were instrumental in forming a medical billing company to provide additional expertise to assist our medical clients and add another component in our integrative approach. The medical billing company also oversees the credentialing and compliance necessary for hospital privileges and insurance participation. The credentialing process dovetails with the human resource component offered by Practice Management.

Our efforts in practice management area are directed by Lynda Estes. She has twenty plus years working in health care. Her experience includes the management of a large occupational medicine group with over 100 professionals. Lynda’s responsibilities include human resources, administration, and cash management. Under Lynda we have a support staff of five individuals including a bookkeeper.
